Next Tuesday, April 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sala Llevant of the Biblioteca de Catalunya (C / Hospital, 56) will take place the presentation of the double album "Joan Manén. Historical recordings 1914-1954" and the new website "Joan Manén. Composer & violinist"

The Joan Manén Association, after years of research, has managed to bring together an important sound archive with recordings made by the violinist between 1914 and 1954 that are included in "Joan Manén. Historical recordings 1914-1954", a double disc produced by the Association and published by La mà de guido. This recording that contains radio studio recordings, live and recordings sold on 78 rpm discs by the Parlophone and His Master Voice houses will allow us to know first-hand the virtues for which he was famous throughout Europe and America.

The event will be presented by the journalist Pere-Andreu Jariod and will include the participation of Daniel Blanch and Samuel Castellanos, president and vicepresident of the Joan Manén Association respectively. During the event there will be an audition of some of the published Joan Manén recordings.
